Having A Ceremony Right Next To The Shore

i have always wanted a wedding ceremony on the beach close to the shoreline where the gorgeous ocean waves would be close by in the background. however, i would be concerned that the waves might get too high and roll in and destroy the ceremony. is there a certain time of the day when it is better to do this when the waves are less likely to be as strong?

i guess all that depends on where you're having your wedding ceremony and what time of year it is going to be. i think the best advice you will be able to get will be from the locals at your proposed venue.
