    oihh great idea fabs!

some of the honeymoon planning ideas i share with my brides are :

    1. gallon size ziplock bags! that way you can stay on the beach till the very last moment and not worry about traveling with a damp swimsuit!

    2. make sure you have extra memory cards! (and back up your pics to either a cloud based site or your laptop each day- that way you don't lose any pics if your camera gets lost !

3.make sure you have all of your cords to charge your electronics- i know, not romantic at all lol but it sure takes the stress out of the honeymoon if you don't forget them!

    another tip:
do i need a visa, do i need vaccinations? some destinations do require visas; your travel professional will be able to advise you of that requirement and assist in obtaining them. also important is what type of passport you are traveling under, as many countries now require passports valid 6 months after entering country. if you're traveling to an exotic destination, it's best to confirm with your doctor if they suggest vaccinations for travel in those regions.

    medical information:

    1) blood type
    2) emergency contact information
    3) listed allergies

those are important when traveling abroad!

if you need to take daily medication for any reason, be sure to bring enough medication for your entire trip (and maybe a little extra just in case). it's not very romantic, but it will be much worse if you get sick and miss out on your honeymoon!

this is a bit advanced but it is better to start your honeymoon later the day after the wedding instead of early in the day. the reason being that it will be very late when you get to bed and you may not be able to sleep until much later.

don't forget to take your favorite perfume along so that you can smell good too! i always pack my perfumes whenever i travel because it adds to the experience and i always feel fresh wearing them.

i think i would call for a day off after the wedding just to relax and calm down. i am sure that we will be exhausted after the partying the night before and waiting for a day will do some good and allow us to take a break after a busy period of planning and events.
